Lennon

Lennon House takes great inspiration from the very talented John Lennon. His characteristics provide the foundations for what we believe are important qualities to have. I strongly believe that in addition to progressing academically, pupils should be taught about the importance of their own personal development and individuality. John Lennon overcame the toughest of obstacles, working incredibly hard to achieve his dreams and never accepting 'no' for an answer. His inspirational journey form the small city of Liverpool to global stardom inspires Lennon pupils to achieve their dreams. As an activist for world peace, John Lennon is a role model for our pupils, and remind us of the importance of treating others with respect.

Lennon House is often described by pupils as ‘a family’. We look out for each-other and encourage others to succeed. I would like all pupils in our house to be confident and happy learners. I encourage our pupils to strive to be the best they can be, through setting high standards to conform to school policies and ensuring that each pupil works to the best of their ability.

There is a strong sense of pride in Lennon House - we take pride in our uniform, pride in our achievements and pride by showing manners and respect to others. Our pupils continuously strive to excel expectations and reach their ambitious goals. Lennon House has a long record of receiving the highest number of achievement points in our school, in addition to an unmatched attendance record. I encourage pupils to challenge themselves both in and out of the classroom and they are extremely talented in many ways - some of our highest achievements are in Sport, Performing Arts, Music, Mathematics and Science.

I am extremely proud to be Leader of Lennon House.
