Shakespeare House is named after William Shakespeare, we all know he is one of the world's greatest writers. Most people now say he was the best of all time. Shakespeare transformed European theatre by expanding expectations about what could be accomplished through innovation. Shakespeare's writings have also impacted a large number of notable novelists and poets over the years.
The pupils in Shakespeare House are driven to believe that they can accomplish anything they want to in life. I encourage the pupils to challenge themselves and use their knowledge, creativity and talents to aid them to achieve. I feel that this is important whether they are in or out of the classroom and in every part of school life and beyond. In Shakespeare House there is a strong team ethos and mutual levels of respect.
I believe the pupils are happy, supported and guided to individual success. Pupils are proud to be a part of both Shakespeare House and of course Golborne High School, thriving on individual milestones and successes.
As a leader of Shakespeare House, I am very proud of the positive contributions made by the pupils in Shakespeare House.
